Jazoon'07 - International Conference on Java Technology Knowledge management is no longer imaginable without the Internet, with its capacity for storing enormous volumes of data, exchanging information about developments and trends, establishing contacts and creating business relationships. But an intensive exchange of know-how and experiences also calls for personal familiarity, and this is something the Internet on its own cannot deliver. For this reason, specialized conferences such as Jazoon are a key factor when it comes to dynamic know-how transfer across technical, national and cultural borders. |
Jazoon is an international conference that serves as the no. 1 meeting place for software developers and IT specialists, where they can exchange information about the latest developments, current trends and important aspects of Java technology. Jazoon provides the ideal surroundings and atmosphere for developers, architects, IT decision-makers and consultants from all over Europe, as well as the rest of the world, to establish and firm up contacts with one another. The variety of topics at Jazoon is as broad as the areas of application for Java and open-source technologies, ranging from smart cards to servers, games to security, development to operation. Jazoon paves the way for the exchange of experiences across and beyond all borders. In order for specialists from all over the world to participate in such an exchange, they need to have a common language at their disposal. Java has become a standard for this form of global communication, and English is Jazoon’s official conference language. |

We are glad to give you information about a partnership of JUGS (JUG Switzerland) with JUGS (JUG Stuttgart) that allows members of both groups to participate the events of the other Group to the same favourable conditions as members. |
The Java User Group Stuttgart was established in March 1997 as an independent, non-profit organization and today has more than 150 members, most of whom are IT professionals. It aims to provide a forum to practitioners and other people interested in Java in which to exchange information and experiences as well as to facilitate contacts to innovative businesses in the region. The JUG Stuttgart has regular meetings with talks and discussions at Hohenheim University, occasionally bigger events on current OO technology (e.g. with Kent Beck or Peter Coad) and since 1998 the Java Forum Stuttgart. The annual highlight of the JUG Stuttgart is the Java Forum Stuttgart (JFS), which is organized since 1998. This full-day conference offers a wide range of presentations and exhibits on current Java technology. The combination of technically-oriented talks, case studies and product presentations has proven very popular. The facts of the JFS1880 conference - 600 visitors, 35 talks and 30 stalls ('standlets') - demonstrate its relevance far beyond the region. |

Swiss Open Systems User Group There is also existing a partnership between JUGS and Swiss Open Systems User Group (/ch/open that allows members of both groups to participate the events of the other Group to the same favourable conditions as members. |

.NET Managed User Group Switzerland With our partner from the .NET area we intend to demonstrate that technology must not necessarily be religious: Our experience helped the founding of this new user group and together we intend to present events covering topics across both technologies - Java and .NET. The dotMugs has the following goals: |
